Glendora VFW Brings Home Commander's Trophy from Wildwood

The Choimer-Trace Memorial Veterans of Foreign War Post No. 8714 had quite a successful day at the 2012 New Jersey VFW Convention parade.

The Choimer-Trace Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 8714, Glendora, Gloucester Township, participated in the VFW Department of New Jersey's 93rd Convention Parade on Saturday, June 16, in Wildwood and returned with four winning trophies.

VFW Post 8714's colorguard led District 7 and won 1st Place in "Best VFW District Colorguard;" its float won 2nd Place in the "Best Float" competition; its Ladies won 1st Place as "Best VFW Ladies Colorguard;" and, with great pride, VFW Post No. 8714 won the Commander's Trophy as "Best Overall Post."
