Republican Chris Leone-Zwillinger, Esq. Runs for Camden County Sheriff

The Camden County GOP has announced that Chris Leone-Zwillinger, Esq. is running for county Sheriff in 2012. 

Chris began her impressive career as a sheriff’s officer in Essex County and was the first woman to go to the police academy there. She worked undercover for several years before attending law school. Since then, Chris has served as both a Prosecutor and Deputy Attorney General. She presently practices law in Camden County. 

Chris has devoted a significant portion of her life to justice and law enforcement. She’s running for Sheriff, because she believes right now is a crucial time in Camden County. 

“There’s a lot to be done in the Sheriff’s office,” Chris said. “The budget needs to be reduced. Your taxes need to come down. And bureaucrats like the Sheriff and his freeholder friends need to stop talking about a new county wide police force, which would increase taxes and eliminate jobs and services. That idea is absolutely unacceptable and cost prohibitive. We already have a county-wide police force. It’s the Sheriff’s office.” 

Chris went on to make a strong and solemn pledge. 

“Your local police force belongs in your municipality to protect you, your family, your friends and your neighbors. Period. Elect me. I’ll keep your police in your town right where you need them, and I’ll assist any town in need of additional police personnel on an as-needed county-wide basis.”
