Frederic I. Mitchell Jr. of Erial, NJ, passed away on Jan. 28, 2013, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Darlene Mitchell (nee Hunter) for 35 years. Loving father of Daniel Martocello (Lisa) of Runnemede, NJ. Dear brother of Thomas Mitchell of Narberth, PA. He is also survived by many, many friends, locally, nationally and internationally.
Fred retired in June 2008 from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education after almost 28 years.

He was a National Member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (Local IBM Ring # 165), as well as a National Member of the Society of American Magicians (Local Ring # 4).
As stated by his wife Darlene: “Strangers to him were just friends he had not met. He was a great husband and my best friend. I will miss him with all my heart.”

Fred loved his son and daughter-in-law Lisa very much. He even loved their dog, April.

Viewings will be Thursday, Jan. 31 from 7 to 9:00 PM and Friday, Feb. 1 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ 08012. His funeral service will follow on Friday at 11:00 AM, also at the funeral home. Condolences may be viewed/posted at www.earlefuneralhome.com
