Obituary: Margaret Mary O’Brien

Margaret Mary O’Brien (Novak), of Blackwood, passed away on Dec. 22, 2012, at the age of 88 years. Devoted mother of Pat Cranston (the late Joseph), of Glendora, Peg Dougherty (Chick), of Blenheim, Michelle Glemser (Al), of Howell, Rick Novak (Terry), of College Park, MD, Matt Novak (Sue), of Mullica Hill, and Sue Alemi (Dave), of Audubon. She is the loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren, and proud great-grandmother of 6. 

Ms. O’Brien, PFC, served with the Women’s Army Corp. (WAC) during World War II, and as a school bus driver for 24 years with Gloucester Township Public Schools.

Viewing will be Wednesday, Dec. 26, 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday, Dec. 27, 8:15 to 9:15 a.m., at Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will follow Thursday at 10 a.m. at Hold Child Parish/St. Teresa Church, Black Horse Pike and Evesham Road, Runnemede. Interment, St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing, NJ.
