Stuart A. Cathcart, of Brooksville, FL, formerly of Blenheim, NJ, passed away on Jan. 7, 2013, at the age of 75 years. Devoted husband of Yvonne Cathcart (nee Troxel). Beloved father of Craig Cathcart (Ruth) of Folcroft, PA, and Lauri McCarty (K.C.) of Berlin, NJ. Proud grandfather of Ashlee, Kyle, Craig Jr., and Dylan. Loving brother of the late William Cathcart. Dear uncle of Scott, Jon, Stacy, and Jennifer.
Mr. Cathcart was a U.S. Army Veteran, and retiree of the Gloucester Township Public School System. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and an admirer of all makes and models of cars, as he faithfully attended the auto show for many years, with his brother Bill.
Relatives and friends are invited to wear their favorite Philadelphia sports team jersey for his viewing on Friday, Jan. 11, 9 to 11:00 a.m. at Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ 08012, where a service will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Marcus Hook, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated in his memory to The American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
