It would be greatly appreciated if any of our public works or parks and recreation officials could keep our residents in the loop as to what's happening with our Blackwood lake levels and the current status of our dam.
We owe this small slice of nature more respect than to keep the water levels so low. This is breeding season for ducks, geese, frogs, etc., most of which have high degrees of sensitivity to water height.
Not to mention that it would be great to know if GT is planning on repairing the dam anytime soon. This is a beautiful location to paddle, fish, and just "be" in nature...(The reason we loved and purchased our home).
What a shame.
