Full Time Taxes/Part Time Township

If you want to find out anything about township council meetings like the date of the next meeting, an upcoming  meeting agenda, or past meeting minutes you can go to:http://glotwp.com/departments/clerk/clerk.html

Unfortunately the last meeting minutes posted are from September and the 2014 Meeting Agenda has not yet been posted. Is this what part-time government (every Friday closed) gets us for our taxes? A better name for GT would be Backwater Township, NJ. Are you tired yet of our mayor and township council bragging as to what a great job they are doing? Are you tired of asking questions and never getting answers? Are you tired of calling one of the numbers in GT's government and never getting a call back? It really is laughable.

We get what we voted for. A majority in GT want a government that is dysfunctional, corrupt, ineffective, and part time government. Nothing will change as long as we stay on the sofa caring more about American idol than America itself.

So, would you like to check on something that was addressed at a Township Council Regular Session or Executive Session during October, November, or December without having to know exactly what you want and having to OPRA (Open Public Records Act) it? Or maybe you could sit through the recorded Live Stream recordings if the camera was actually working that night and you have hours and hours of nothing else to do. How's it feel to want? Isn't it past time to demand some decent government services in this town? Isn't that why we pay such exorbitant real estate taxes?

Paul, It is way past time. I have talked with so many unhappy residents and Parents and I am at a loss as to why they do not ALL come out and speak up. I know many parents voted to change the School Board in November just not enough. If you want change you have to come out and stand up against what is wrong.

Let's wait for the raid
