Marion Spirn Retrospective Showing in CCC's Marlin Gallery

Camden County College’s Marlin Gallery is presenting an exhibition of the paintings of Marion Spirn now through Nov. 1.

Spirn is a New Jersey-based artist who studied at Virginia Commonwealth University and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Her work previously has been exhibited as nearby as Philadelphia, its suburbs and other parts of New Jersey, as far away as Belgium and China and in between in New York and Chicago.

Her paintings are in the collections of the Noyes Museum, the National Women’s Museum of Art, Rutgers University and Lockheed Martin. They are in many other private and public collections as well.

Admission to “Marion Spirn: A Retrospective” is free and open to the public. Regular hours are 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays.

The Marlin Gallery is located inside Lincoln Hall on the College’s Blackwood Campus, which is at College Drive and Peter Cheeseman Road in Gloucester Township. Ample free, off-street parking is available.
