SPEAK OUT: Poor Paving on Chews Landing Road

Last year the County tore up Chews Landing Road (and many others) to upgrade the sewer pipes.

Now I see that after they have paved Chews Landing Road, there are many areas where the asphalt is separating, the roadway is sinking because of settlement, and gas and manhole covers are lower than the road surface.

It appears from the painted areas, there will be patching made to the asphalt. Why shouldn't the contractor be made to redo the paving properly? No patch work on a paving project less than a year old!!
