Can someone tell me more about the Star testing our children take as per common core standards, how often it is taken and why the results are an average of all the Star tests put together and not based on individual grade? I am kind of tired of getting a run around from the district and how they feel these tests help determine our children's growths, strengths, weaknesses, paves the way to happy endings, kitties, puppy dogs, shiny rainbows and brighter futures?.....because I am not feeling it, and about to keep my kids home every time these tests are taken.
