$20,000 Reward Offered in Investigation of Gloucester Township Woman's Death

Gloucester Township Police Department Crimestoppers are offering $20,000 for information related to an unsolved death last summer.

Carol Reiff, 59, of Lakeview Apartments in Gloucester Township, last spoke to her family on June 20, 2013, one day before she planned to visit family members in Manahawkin.

She never arrived, and the family contacted police. Her body was discovered in a wooded area behind her apartment complex on June 24, 2013.

An autopsy was unable to determine the cause of death due to the body’s state of decay. Although the death has not been ruled a homicide, the Gloucester Township Police Department and the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office are conducting a criminal investigation into her death.
