Alleged Wawa Car Thief Caught

An 18-year-old Gloucester Township man was jailed.

An 18-year-old Gloucester Township man was arrested and charged with stealing a car in front of the Wawa convenience store on the Black Horse Pike, township police announced Friday.

Khris Figueroa, of the Lakeview Apartments, was arrested for the alleged theft shortly after the vehicle, a red Ford Ranger, was found in the sprawling complex on Lower Landing Road on Dec. 16. Two days earlier, it was swiped from the Wawa in the Glendora section of the township. The keys were in it and the motor was running when it was stolen.

Figueroa was charged with burglary and theft and held at the Camden County Jail on $50,000 bail.
