Attorney General to Announce Charges in South Jersey Elderly Fraud Case

Four defendants are expected to be charged in a fraud case involving at least 10 elderly couples in southern New Jersey.

Four defendants, including one who has been labeled a “prominent attorney” will be charged with stealing millions of dollars from at least 10 elderly couples in southern New Jersey Thursday morning, according to Acting Attorney General John J. Hoffman.

One of the other defendants is the owner of an in-home senior care company.

The announcement will be made during a 10:30 a.m. press conference Thursday morning at 4 Echelon Plaza in Voorhees, located next to the library.

Hoffman, New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice Director Elie Honig and Ray Guidetti, Commander of the State Police Intelligence Section will be on hand.
