Detectives spotted Delron Freeman, 30, walking out of an abandoned home in the 1100 block of Thurman Street around 1:15 a.m., police said, and while other officers detained Freeman, detectives searched the house.
That’s where they found 239 bags of crack, 22 glass vials of marijuana and two bags of marijuana, along with a loaded Colt rifle, police said.
Freeman faces seven charges after being arrested—possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, certain persons not to have weapons, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute, possession of a controlled dangerous substance within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of a controlled dangerous substance within 500 feet of a public park.
He was taken to the Camden County Jail in lieu of $150,000 cash or bond bail.
