Big Timber Creek Crash Still Under Investigation

A vehicle careened into Big Timber creek after a two-car crash Monday. Police haven't yet filed charges or citations.

Police said Friday they are still investigating an accident that sent a 70-year-old Pine Hill woman's car into the Big Timber Creek in Gloucester Township.

The two-car accident Monday occurred at the intersection of the Black Horse Pike and Old Black Horse Pike at 4:30 p.m. Nora Snow, the Pine Hill woman, had to be extricated from her car after she collided with another vehicle while trying to make a turn. Her car ended up in the Big Timber Creek, which is a tidal estuary. The vehicle was never submerged in water, police said.

She was taken to Virtua Hospital in Berlin by ambulance after the collision. Her condition was not immediately reported, but it was not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
