Bike Safety Rodeo Saturday at Veterans Park

The rodeo takes place from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

The Gloucester Township Police Department is hosting the third annual Bike Safety Rodeo today (May 3) at Veterans Park, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. The park is located at the Municipal Building at 1261 Chews Landing Road Laurel Springs.

A Bicycle Safety Rodeo is a bicycle skills event which provides an opportunity for bicyclists to practice and develop skills that will help them to become better bicyclists and avoid typical crashes.

The goal of any bicycle rodeo is to provide an opportunity for the participants to learn, practice, and demonstrate their bicycle handling skills in a fun, noncompetitive atmosphere. All riders will have their bicycle and safety helmet inspected.
