Blackwood Fugitive Charged With Robbery Captured in Sicklerville
Tyree Gittens is charged in an incident in which a man was struck with a blunt object during an alleged drug transaction.
A Gloucester Township man who failed to appear in court on a robbery charge was captured on Tuesday, the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office announced on Thursday.
Tyree Gittens, 21, of the Blackwood section of the township, failed to appear in Woodbury Superior Court on June 9 for a pretrial hearing on an armed robbery charge.
He is charged in connection with an incident in Glassboro on Aug. 10, 2012, in which an individual was struck with a blunt object in the course of what was believed to be a drug transaction.
He was found in Sicklerville.
