Child Ejected from Vehicle in Cross Keys Rd. Accident

The child was taken to Cooper University Hospital.

A violent, two-vehicle collision Thursday on Berlin-Cross Keys Road in Gloucester Township ejected a child from one of the vehicles and sent him and his mother to the hospital.

It occurred near the Target store at 11:30 a.m.

The child, whose age was not immediately reported, was found conscious and alert. His injuries were believed to be non-life-threatening, a police report said.

His mother sustained minor injuries and both were taken by ambulance to Cooper University Hospital in Camden.

The driver of the vehicle that struck them was not injured. Police say the accident is under investigation.
