Clementon Bank Robbed at Gunpoint

The unidentified man, shown on security camera footage, may be connected to bank robberies nearby.

Clementon Police are searching for an armed robber who held up a bank Monday, and whom police suspect is connected to two other South Jersey bank robberies.

The man, who was captured on bank security footage, robbed Sovereign Bank at 3:11 p.m. Monday. Security photos show him pointing a black handgun toward bank employees.

He fled in a silver, four-door car.

Clementon Police say the man may be responsible for recent bank robberies in Waterford and Monroe (Gloucester County) as well.
