OK ... well, then, who says you can't bring an already-used line to an OMG intro?

OMG, That's a Good Job: Most of the time, when highlighting stunning and surprising police and emergency news, we're pointing out crimes gone wrong (or at least gone weird). But once in a while, we like to say "OMG, what heroes" about people in our communities who've done great deeds. , and read about how a team of bystanders may have saved the life of a senior citizen who'd crashed her car into a building and become stuck. When they realized gas was leaking, the bystanders broke into the car, and (after one, a cardiologist, determined it was OK) moved her to safety. Great job, all involved.

False Alarm: That is one expensive iPad. Warren Township Police took a call from a woman frantically reporting a purse, iPad and jewelry valued at more than $50,000—possibly as much as $100,000, she said—had been stolen from her vehicle as it was parked at a shopping center parking lot. —it turned out her housekeeper had placed most of the missing jewelry safely at the victim's home. Also, the actual value of the stolen items? $15,000.
