Duo Stole Over $1,000 in Baby Formula From Gloucester Township ShopRite, Police Say

Erica and Demetris Williams were charged with stealing 67 cans of baby formula worth $1.067 from the Blackwood Clementon Road ShopRite.

A pair of Gloucester County residents have been charged with stealing over $1,000 in baby formula from the ShopRite on Blackwood Clementon Road, Gloucester Township Police announced Wednesday night.

Erica Williams, 23, and Demetris Williams, 27, both of Sewell, attempted to leave the store without paying for 67 cans of baby formula worth about $1,051. They were detained by security and taken into custody by Gloucester Township Police around 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Erica Williams was charged with third degree shoplifting and failure to appear. She was remanded to Camden County jail in lieu of bail.
