UPDATE: No Injuries in Dickenson Drive Fire

Responders quickly extinguish the blaze.

UPDATE, Sunday, 9:10 a.m.: The stovetop fire Saturday night on Dickenson Drive was put out quickly, and did not cause any injuries, authorities said.

Camden County Fire Marshal Paul Sandrock made the ruling following the fire, which started in the home’s kitchen because of a stovetop ignition, according to Gloucester Township Police

The Lambs Terrace Fire Department Station 85 and responded to the fire, which broke out around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. The home’s occupants were already out of the residence, and authorities evacuated adjacent homes as well.

None of the residents or responders suffered any injuries, according to police. Earlier reports indicated a resident experienced smoke inhalation.

Blackwood #84, Chews Landing #82 and Pine Hill #62 fire companies assisted in putting out the fire. Gloucester Township Emergency Medical Service also responded and assisted.

According to reports, one occupant is being treated for smoke inhalation. Smoke was seen coming from the building before 11 p.m. Saturday.
