Glendora 7-Eleven Robbed Again

Police are seeking a suspect believed to have committed similar crimes in nearby towns.

Police are seeking a suspect who robbed the Glendora 7-Eleven at knifepoint Monday night.

The suspect threatened a store clerk at the West Evesham Road convenience store with an 8- to 12-inch knife while demanding cash.

The armed robber reached into two cash register drawers the clerk opened for him, then fled toward Station Avenue with an undisclosed amount of money.

The crime was reported to police shortly before 9:30 p.m. The clerk was not injured.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male who is 6 feet to 6 feet, 2 inches tall and 20 to 25 years old. His beard was scruffy at the time of the robbery, and he was wearing a black jacket and a wool hat with a small brim.

It is believed the same man has robbed several stores in the area. Similarly carried out robberies have taken place at businesses in Cherry Hill, Deptford, Magnolia and Somerdale in recent weeks, police said.

While announcing Monday night's robbery this afternoon, police released images from a surveillance video that captured the suspect inside one of the stores he robbed.
