Gloucester Township Police Arrest Man In Connection With Atlantic City Car Theft

A 27-year-old Camden Man has been arrested in Gloucester Township in connection with an Atlantic City car theft, police said.

On Sunday at approximately 3:20 a.m., a Gloucester Township Police Department officer located a white Saturn driving on Blackwood Clementon Road that was reported stolen out of Atlantic City.

With the assistance from Lindenwold and Pine Hill police departments, the vehicle was stopped as the driver, David Richardson, was taken into custody without issue. He initially provided a false name to officers but was later found to have several outstanding warrants.

The accused was charged with receiving stolen property, hindering his apprehension and issued several traffic summons. He was remanded to Camden County Jail in default of posting a bail of $20,000.

The vehicle's owner responded to GTPD headquarters where the vehicle was later returned, police said.
