Gloucester Township Police to Hold Police Unity Tour Fundraisers

A Police Unity Tour Night takes place Wednesday night at Texas Roadhouse in Sicklerville.

A group of police officers from the Gloucester Township Police Department  who will participate in this year’s Police Unity Tour will host a Police Unity Tour night at the Texas Roadhouse in Sicklerville on Wednesday night.

The event takes place from 4-10 p.m. Texas Roadhouse will donate 10 percent of each customer’s bill when a customer mentions Police Unity Tour Team Gloucester Township or presents a printed out flyer.

On April 12, Police Unity Tour Team Gloucester Township will host the Unity Dodgeball Tournament at Total Turf Experience in Pitman. Cost is $150 per team (5 player minimum at $30 per player) Additional team members (subs) are optional at $30 per person.

Prizes will be awarded for best team, and co-ed teams are welcome. There will be a 50/50 and Team Gloucester Township t-shirts are for sale at the event.

Players apply at on www.totalturf.net and click on the Team Gloucester Township’s Unity Dodgeball Tournament banner. Players can pay online using their credit cards.

All proceeds benefit the Police Unity Tour and the Washington DC Police Memorial.  

The Police Unity Tour, an annual bike ride to Washington D.C. from various locations throughout the country, begins May. 9.

“Police Unity Tour Team Gloucester Township" will again be participating this year by riding their bicycles from New Jersey to Washington D.C.  with a goal of bringing public awareness for Police Officers who have died in the line of duty and to honor their sacrifices.  The Police Unit Tour also raises funding for the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial and Museum.  Visit: www.policeunitytour.com for more details.
