GT Police Release Video of Home Burglary

The video shows the suspect in a Jan. 11 home burglary on Chews Landing Road in Gloucester Township.

Gloucester Township Police CrimeStoppers on Friday evening posted surveillance video that captured a Jan. 11 home burglary on Chews Landing Road to the Police Department's YouTube page.

Police issued the following blurb about the crime and the suspect:

The suspect is a white male, wearing a plaid heavy coat, a camouflage “Phillies” baseball cap, jeans and boots, driving a 1992 to 1996 Ford F-150 light-colored short cab pickup truck with dark work boxes attached to the bed of the truck. The suspect is seen for under a hour removing numerous metallic items from the home, including a screen door, bicycle, a window air-conditioning unit, lawn mower and metal gutters. The suspect also stole copper piping from the basement, which caused the basement to fill with water.

Not the sharpest tack in the bunch. He didn't notice the cameras.Took his good old time (banging stuff too). Then left the gate open for a quicker discovery.

It's definitely the same house. Not sure how it make it fishy though. People can get robbed more than once. I guess it's an easy target. He should get a dog.

These people didn't seem to be in a hurry either. Broad daylight - almost like they were supposed to be picking stuff up. Stopped to check his tire and left the gate open too. I wonder if they checked the gate for prints.
