GTPD: Duo Used Counterfeit Bills at Rite Aid
Police release surveillance images of a male and a female who purchased items at the Blackwood Clementon Road Rite Aid with counterfeit bills.
Gloucester Township Police CrimeStoppers on Tuesday released surveillance images of a duo that allegedly used two counterfeit $10 bills to pay for items at the Blackwood Clementon Road Rite Aid over the weekend.
The crime occurred around 9:15 p.m. Saturday.
The suspects—a male and a female—reportedly walked around the Rite Aid store for several minutes before paying for several low-cost items with the fake bills. A cashier did not immediately notice the bills were counterfeit, and made the correct change on the purchase, police said.
