GTPD Releases Video of Another Theft from ShopRite Property

It is the second theft from behind a Gloucester Township ShopRite in less than two weeks.

Gloucester Township Police on Tuesday released a video that shows two individuals stealing a commercial grade floor scraper and various parts, valued at approximately $8,000, from the rear of the Blackwood Clementon Road ShopRite in broad daylight.

The crime occurred at around 1:20 p.m. last Friday.

It marked the second theft from the rear of a Gloucester Township ShopRite supermarket in less than two weeks.

The Blackwood Clementon Road ShopRite's surveillance video shows a white, mid-1990s Dodge van traveling east on Blackwood Clementon Road, from the downtown Blackwood area, then making a right into ShopRite's main driveway and parking behind the supermarket. When the suspects leave, the van can be seen traveling west back toward the downtown Blackwood area.

Last week, police released video showing a man driving a white Ford pickup truck stealing a black, metal display case from behind the Chews Landing Road supermarket.
