Hider Lane Closed Through Friday

Gloucsester Township Police Department issued the following press release regarding this week's closure of Hider Lane between Little Gloucester Road and Chews Landing Road:

Today, July 23, 2012, Hider Lane will be closed so that improvements and repairs can be made to an existing CCMUA sewer line. This closure will be between Little Gloucester Road and Chews Landing Road. The closure will last until Friday, July 27, at 5 p.m. Hider Lane will be impassable during this time. Access will be limited to residents, the Township Senior Center and businesses located on Hider Lane. Drivers will also be able to access Kelly Drivers Lane.  

The marked detour route for northbound Hider Lane is Little Gloucester Road to Chews Landing Road.   

The route for southbound Hider Lane is Chews Landing Road to Little Gloucester Road. Road. Please plan accordingly for expected delays.  

This closure is part of a long term construction project that will impact traffic throughout certain areas of Gloucester Township for the next several months. The Gloucester Township Police Departments Traffic Safety Bureau will send out weekly traffic alerts to keep residents and motorists informed of changes and upcoming road closures.
