Hi-Speed, Route 42 Police Chase Leads to Charges Against Pine Hill Man

Francis Hillsee was caught in Philadelphia.

A 30-year-old Pine Hill man was arrested by a U.S. Marshals fugitive task force in Philadelphia on Tuesday and charged with a sting of crimes, including eluding Gloucester Township police after a high-speed chase on Route 42 last month.

Francis Hillsee, of 90 Estates Road, was captured without incident on K Street in Philadelphia after a tip led to his arrest. He is awaiting extradition from Pennsylvania.

Gloucester Township police identified Hillsee as the driver of a 2001, 4 door, silver Honda Accord with Tennessee registration stolen from Runnemede during a chase on Route 42 northbound on Dec. 18. The car was found in Deptford on Dec. 23.
