Injured Teen's Family Says Thanks for Community Support

Taylor Bauer was injured in a dirtbike crash Sunday morning.

Family members of a teen girl injured in a dirtbike crash over the weekend say they’re thankful for the outpouring of support from the community in the days since the wreck.

The Bauer family said their daughter, Taylor, is recovering after having to be airlifted to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, and released a thank-you note to the people of Gloucester Township Thursday:

Our family would like to thank each and every person for the enormous outpouring of support, well wishes, hugs, visits, phone calls, emails, texts, and special presents! Taylor is progressing slowly but surely. She is a very determined young lady and we will get through this together. We are so humbled by everything and really want you all to know we love and appreciate every single one of you! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Taylor was hurt after a crash in the woods about 200 yards off Peter Cheeseman Road Sunday morning, when police said she lost control and was run over while riding with her brother.
