K-9 Dogs Track Down 2 Men Charged with Auto Burglary

Two Gloucester Township teens are under arrest for allegedly burglarizing up to a dozen cars.

Gloucester Township Police K-9s tracked down two men Thursday who allegedly burglarized up to 12 vehicles near the 200 block of Clement Drive, police said.

A tip from a resident led to the foot chase. The pair were found hiding under a tree. Two other males who were also seen with them in the area were not found.

Two men from the Hilltop section of the township were arrested. They are Michael Council, 19, of the 1300 block of Walnut Avenue, and Miguel Malave, 18, of the 1500 block of the Old Black Horse Pike.

Both were held at Camden County jail. Police say they allegedly only broke into cars with unlocked doors.
