Local Sex Offender Charged for Incident at Glendora Walgreens

Vincent Kerr, of Oak Avenue, Gloucester Township, has been charged in the incident.

A 46-year-old Gloucester Township man, a registered Megan's Law sex offender, has been charged with inappropriately touching a local girl at a DVD machine at the Walgreens on Black Horse Pike.

Vincent Kerr, 46, of Oak Avenue in Blackwood, was charged with harassment and released on a criminal summons pending court on Dec. 9 for the incident on Sept. 29, police said Thursday. Charges were not filed until probable cause evidence was gathered, Deputy Chief David Harkins said.

Kerr allegedly touched the girl on the belly after he asked for help using a DVD rental machine outside of the store. The girl pulled away, ran to her vehicle and left the parking lot. She and her mother filed a police complaint later that day.
