Man Charged with Attempted Burglary of Tucker Court Home
The alleged crime occurred Tuesday night.
A 30-year-old Gloucester Township man has been charged with attempting to break into a home on Tucker Court Tuesday night, police said.
Police were dispatched to Tucker Court, which is located off Chews Landing Road just across the township's border with Lindenwold, at 10:38 p.m. Tuesday on a report of suspicious activity. An anonymous caller reported that an individual was walking back and forth from vehicles to a wooded area, Gloucester Township Police Lt. Edward Bryant said in a press release.
Responding officers were informed the individual had attempted to burglarize a home on Tucker Court.

While on the scene investigating the report, police heard someone running in the wooded area, but were unable to catch up to the suspect.
Acting on a second report of a suspicious person in the area, police apprehended a suspect and later identified him as the person wanted in the attempted burglary, Bryant said.

Brian Coyle, a resident of Monroe Drive in the township's Glen Oaks section, has been charged with criminal attempt burglary and possession of burglary tools. He was lodged in Camden County Jail on $50,000 bail following his arrest.
