Man Sought in Thefts from Vehicles, Credit Card Fraud: Police

The man entered several vehicles in the Four Seasons development and stole multiple GPS units and a wallet, police said.

Police seek the public's help in locating a man who allegedly entered several vehicles in the township's Erial section, stole multiple GPS units and a wallet containing credit cards, and then used the cards to make fraudulent purchases. 

The man entered vehicles in the Four Seasons development off Garwood Road sometime before 2 a.m. Sunday, police said. He used the stolen credit cards to buy food and televisions at Walmart on Clements Bridge Road in Deptford around 2 a.m. Police described the man as a white male wearing a gray Under Armour baseball cap and a hooded sweatshirt. 

About a half hour later, the man made an electronics purchase at Walmart on Cooper Street in Deptford using one of the stolen cards, according to police. He left in a gray or silver four-door sedan, possibly a Honda.

At 7:40 a.m. Sunday, the man, now wearing a white Under Armour baseball hat and jacket, tried to use the credit cards to buy electronics at Walmart in Berlin. The cards were declined. He was driving a white Ford Escort station wagon. 

Anyone with information, or who can identify the man in the video above, is asked to call the Gloucester Township police  Anonymous Crime Tip Line at 856-842-5560.
