Motorcycle Rider Injured in College Drive Crash

He was transported to Cooper Hospital via Helicopter for his injuries as a result of the crash.The driver of the car suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment.

A motorcycle rider was injured in a serious accident Saturday night on College Drive, Gloucester Township Police announced Sunday morning.

The unidentified rider was traveling east on College Drive when he collided with a car headed west.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Cooper Hospital via Helicopter for his injuries as a result of the crash.The driver of the car suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment.

College Drive was closed for 2 and a half hours as a result of the accident.

The crash is under investigation by the Gloucester Township Traffic Safety Bureau's Serious Crash Investigation Team.  The names of the drivers are being withheld at this time pending notification of family.
