UPDATE: Motorcyclist Injured in Jarvis Road Crash
The accident occurred Saturday morning in Gloucester Township's Erial section.
UPDATE, 4:05 p.m. 7/2: Police Lt. Brian McKendry identified the motorcyclist as Anthony Young, 39, of Brookstone Drive, Sicklerville.
Young was transported to Kennedy University Hospital-Washington Township for treatment.
The accident remains under investigation. No summonses had been issued as of Monday afternoon, McKendry said.

A motorcyclist was seriously injured this weekend when he crashed into a car that turned in front of his motorcycle on Jarvis Road, in the township's Erial section, police said.

The accident occurred at about 11:02 a.m. Saturday, according to Gloucester Township Police.
The motorcyclist was heading west on Jarvis Road when an eastbound car, identified by police in a press release as a Ford Mustang, attempted to make a left turn into the driveway at 721 Jarvis Rd.
The force of the impact caused the unidentified motorcyclist to be ejected from his vehicle. He was transported to a local hospital with what police Lt. Jason Gittens labeled "serious injuries."
Police initially withheld the motorcyclist's name pending notification of family members when issuing the press release at around 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
