Motorcyclist Injured in Sicklerville Road Crash

The two-vehicle accident occurred near Garwood Road Wednesday night.

A township man was critically injured when his motorcycle and a car crashed on Sicklerville Road Wednesday night.

The accident occurred in front of Villari's Lakeside Restaurant & Bar, near Sicklerville Road's intersection with Garwood Road, at around 7:05 p.m.

John Williams, 37, of the township's Sicklerville section, was heading southbound on Sicklerville Road, toward Cross Keys Road, when he crashed his Suzuki motorcycle into the passenger side of a black Nissan Altima, according to Gloucester Township Police Cpl. Rich Worst.

The Altima driver, identified by police as 22-year-old Sicklerville resident Joshua White, was traveling northbound on Sicklerville Road when he attempted to make a left turn into Villari's in front of Williams' southbound motorcycle, Worst said.

Williams was taken by Gloucester Township EMS Alliance ambulance to Cooper University Hospital, in Camden. He was listed in critical but stable condition as of early this afternoon, Worst said.

White was not injured.

No tickets had been issued in the accident as of late this afternoon. The investigation is continuing.

In addition to township police and EMS Alliance personnel, Lambs Terrace Fire Co. firefighters responded to the crash scene.
