No Seat Belt for Woman Killed in Rt. 42 Crash: State Police

State police say a Williamstown woman was not wearing a seat belt in the Sept. 22 crash that killed her.

An investigation has determined a Williamstown woman killed in a one-car crash on Route 42 on Sept. 22 was not wearing a seat belt when the car crashed.

Itay Massoquoi, 29, was partially ejected from the 2001 Ford Taurus during the crash. The car struck two trees before rolling over onto its side, according to New Jersey State Police.

Massoquoi was a rear-seat passenger.

The one-car crash occurred near exit 10, in Gloucester Township's Blackwood section.

The car's driver, Monte Brown, 30, also of Williamstown, has been charged with driving while intoxicated, state police said. Additional charges are pending.

Brown and his front-seat passenger did not sustain serious injuries in the crash.
