Officials Investigate Early Morning Murder in Camden

A 38-year-old Camden man was shot several times on North 21st Street around 3 a.m.

Law enforcement officials are searching for a man responsible for a shooting in Camden early Friday morning.

Sergio Rivera, 38, of Camden, was shot multiple times on the 1100 block of North 21st Street in Camden about 3 a.m. Friday, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson said.

Anyone with information on the shooting is urged to contact Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Detective Michael Rhoads at 856- 225-8561 or Camden County Police Detective Mike Ross at 856-757-7420.
