Pine Hill Police Seek Suspect in Attempted Luring

A teenage girl tells police a man tried to lure her into his vehicle.

Pine Hill Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in the attempted luring of a teenage girl.

On Wednesday, the victim reported to police that on Sept. 17, she was standing at the intersection of East Branch and Kayser avenues when she was approached by a dark blue truck with four doors, possibly a Chevrolet Avalanche. The vehicle had turned onto Kayser Avenue from East Branch Avenue, drove past the victim, turned around on Kayser Avenue and pulled alongside her. The driver then asked if she wanted a ride.

The victim ran from the area without speaking to the suspect, police said. As she started to run, the victim heard the driver make a comment about her appearance.
