In both incidents, Meyers allegedly forced his victims to drive him to Camden and robbed them.

Meyers is accused of attempting to carjack two more passenger vehicles Wednesday morning about 9:30 a.m., though neither attempt was successful.

He is accused of approaching a female driver at a Wawa on 10th Avenue in Lindenwold and entering her car. The woman got out of the car and screamed, prompting Meyers to run from the scene.

The 43-year-old Clementon man then attempted to get in another vehicle at Laurel Road and Blackwood Clementon Road, also in Lindenwold, but the female driver of that vehicle struggled with him and he fled, the Prosecutor's Office said.

Meyers was armed with a knife in both incidents Wednesday morning. He was arrested by Lindenwold Police shortly after the second carjacking attempt.

Meyers was lodged in Camden County Jail Wednesday.
