Police: Gloucester Twp. Man Stole $3,000 Necklace from Cinnaminson Home

The necklace was found at a Cherry Hill jewelry store.

arrested a tile worker from Gloucester Township Tuesday for allegedly stealing a $3,000 gold necklace from a Cinnaminson home he was working on, officials said.

Andrew J. Genzano, 26, of the 1700 block of Waldon Court, in Gloucester Township's Sicklerville section, was doing tile work on a home on the 800 block of Windsor Drive on June 7. The next day, the homeowner noticed a missing gold necklace valued at $3,000, police said. The homeowner said Genzano was the only stranger in the home.

Genzano was questioned by Cinnaminson police officers and state troopers. He was charged with one count of theft by failure to return lost or stolen merchandise.

The necklace was recovered by Cinnaminson detectives at a jewelry store in Cherry Hill and returned to the victim.

Genzano was processed and released pending court.
