UPDATE: Police Seek Blue BMW in Hit-and-Run Involving Pedestrian

A man was injured in a hit-and-run Sunday on Jarvis Road in Gloucester Township and police are seeking the public's help to find the culprit.

UPDATE, 3:10 p.m. 12/19: Police say the vehicle involved in Sunday morning's hit-and-run involving a pedestrian on Jarvis Road has been identified as a 2007 to 2010 montego blue BMW 3 series coupe.

A reported hit-and-run early Sunday morning sent one man to the hospital and the police on a hunt for the driver.

The incident occurred at 12:37 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 18 on Jarvis Road, just east of Sicklerville Road. That's when, police said, a car struck a pedestrian and drove off, leaving the victim with non-life threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital.

Police said the car may be a German model, perhaps a BMW, and is thought to be blue. It's missing a driver's side mirror. 

The car reportedly left the accident scene by driving eastbound on Jarvis Road from Sickerville Road and toward Williamstown Road.
