Police ID Four Injured in Sicklerville Road Crash

The accident resulted in police closing down Sicklerville Road for several hours Monday.

Four people were taken to a Camden hospital following a head-on crash on Sickerville Road around 2:15 p.m. Monday.

One crash victim was flown to Cooper University Hospital.

Police reported that a Ford Expedition, driven by 36-year-old Joseph Riley Jr., of Sherwick Court, Sicklerville, was heading south on Sicklerville Road when it crossed into the northbound lane, crashing head-on with a Land Rover LR2 occupied by three Pine Hill women.

The accident occurred near Freeway Golf Course.

The Land Rover was driven by 40-year-old Myrna Jackson, of West Woodburn Avenue, police said. Jackson's passengers were Hafeezah Fitts, 36, also of West Woodburn Avenue, and Gabriella Keith, 18, of Blackwood Clementon Road.

It was Keith whose injuries resulted in emergency medical personnel calling for a medical helicopter.

All of the victims were listed in critical but stable condition Monday night, according to Gloucester Township Police Lt. Brian McKendry.

It was initially reported that two medevacs flew victims from the crash scene.

The accident investigation is ongoing by the police department's Serious Crash Investigation Team.

Lambs Terrace Fire Co., Winslow Fire Department, Pine Hill Fire Department and Gloucester Township EMS Alliance assisted at the scene.
