Police: James Hendricks Tried to Solicit Girl for Sex

During the investigation, police discover Hendricks allegedly committed two additional sexual-related acts against children.

A 24-year-old Gloucester Township man was hit with a litany of charges this week after police accused him of soliciting an underage girl online and sending her a picture of his genitals.

James T. Hendricks, of Whitall Drive in the township’s Sicklerville section, was arrested Sept. 10 after a weeklong investigation. Officials say a female from Waterford reported that Hendricks contacted her through Facebook to solicit sex. He also sent her a picture of his genitals, police said.

During the investigation, authorities learned Hendricks was previously accused of inappropriately touching a girl in 2005 and showing pornography to a boy in May 2012. Both alleged incidents happened in Gloucester Township.
