Police Officer Injured in Crash on Blackwood-Clementon Road
The accident, occurred Tuesday afternoon, shut down the Gloucester Township road for nearly an hour.
A Gloucester Township police officer was taken to the hospital by ambulance Tuesday afternoon after a marked vehicle he was driving collided with another vehicle on Blackwood-Clementon Road, near Cherrywood and Emerson drives.
The officer, who was not immediately identified, sustained minor injuries while responding to assist another officer, police said. The crash occurred at 2:25 p.m.
The occupants of the other vehicle were not reported injured. The road was closed to traffic for nearly an hour.
