It is the Police Department's hope that the academy will foster an improved relationship between police and the community.

The course will include an overview of the Police Department, including its administration and patrol, communications, special operations, criminal investigations and youth criminal law units, and more.

All attendees will also learn CPR for the home.

If you would like to be part of this cooperative effort between police and the community and would like to receive a Citizens Police Academy application or have any questions, please call Gloucester Township Police Department Community Relations Bureau Lt. Brendan Barton and Cpl. Sean Grannan at 856-228-4011 or email them at communityrelations@gtpolice.com.
