Police Release Video in Alleged Radio Shack Theft Attempt

Police say three males attempted to steal a laptop from the Blackwood Clementon Road store.

Police are seeking the public's help identifying three males they say attempted to steal a laptop from the Blackwood Clementon Road Radio Shack.

Investigators on Thursday released surveillance video from the store in the hopes that someone will be able to identify the three individuals, accused of attempting to take a Hewlett Packard laptop, which was secured to a wall by a cable.

The alleged theft attempt occurred on Wednesday, Aug. 31, at around 5 p.m.

The suspects fled the store in a newer, tan Chevrolet Malibu after hearing the store manager tell an employee to call police, according to police.

Police ask anyone who can identify the three individuals to leave a message on the township's anonymous crime tip line at 856-842-5560, call Gloucester Township Police dispatch at 856-228-4500 or send an email to police@gtpolice.com.
