UPDATED: Police Continue Search for Bank Robber in Gloucester Township Monday

A man allegedly robbed the TD Bank on the 600 block of College Drive in Gloucester Township about 10:10 a.m. Monday morning, according to a statement from the Camden County Prosecutor's Office and township police.

The alleged robber is described as a dark skinned black male, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, wearing baggy gray sweatpants and a red hooded sweatshirt, possibly over a black hooded sweatshirt. He also had on a wig and a fake beard. The suspect was reported to have fled towards the area of the Autumn Ridge Apartment Complex.

REPORTED AT 11:20 A.M. MONDAY

Township police are searching for a person who allegedly robbed a bank near Little Gloucester Road and College Drive this morning, according to police scanner reports.

The suspect handed the teller a note demanding cash, but no weapon was shown, the reports said. In a call this morning to the TD Bank located there, an employee initially appeared to indicated there had been a robbery before a second employee declined to confirm it. Township police did not immediately return an email for comment.

The alleged robber fled towards the Autumn Ridge Apartments, where police have set up a perimeter around the complex, according to scanner reports.
